The weird thing about this is that even after immediately reinstalling Nord, my internet still works fine (at least until the next time this happens) and that nowhere in Norton 360 do I see any mention of Nord. When I do that, the internet connection is instantly restored. What I have found is that just closing Nord is not enough and ending the task in the Task Manager is not enough. The Windows Internet Connection trouble shooter tells me that it is a security or firewall setting, and expanding for more info tells me that the setting that might be blocking the connection is the “NordVPN split tunnel”. Every few months, my internet connection stops working.
